Corporater BMP - 4.1.3.0 - Release Notes

NEW AND CHANGED FUNCTIONALITY

Spreadsheet, new Reporter object, used to generate an Excel document based on an Excel

template document containing Reporter tags, parser expressions or table expressions

The Spreadsheet object contains support for #set- and #clear-statements, but does not support #if, #repeatElement, #repeatPeriod , #insert, #findq, #find. See the Spreadsheet section of the User documentation for Reporter for more information and limitations.

New Spreadsheet View object lets the user display Excel documents or pre-defined parts of them directly on the web page. See the Spreadsheet View section of the User documentation for more information and limitations.

 A Spreadsheet view can be displayed as an image in reports. Copy the image in the Template listing to the report template.

The Spreadsheet view and Spreadsheet report are under separate license

 Reports list - Reports view has been renamed to Reports list and now also includes Presentations and Spreadsheets

  • All types of reports (Report, Presentation, Spreadsheet) can be added to a Report list as a Report reference
  • An upgrader makes sure existing Spreadsheet Views and Presentation Views are migrated into Report lists:
  • Reports view, Presentation view, Spreadsheets view become Reports list in 4.1.3.0
  • Reports reference, Presentation reference, Spreadsheets reference become Report reference in 4.1.3.0
  • If Reports references, Presentation references, or Spreadsheets references were renamed, they keep the new name after upgrading

Note: The new Spreadsheet View (see above) has nothing to do with the one that has been renamed/removed.

 Resources list - Resources view has been renamed to Resources list.

Fully configurable filter in Initiative tables and Risk assessment tables, using the Filter list filter configuration, making it possible to filter on more than Progress, Start date, and End date, Date and Progress filters will be migrated as described below. Note that in some cases, this may give different results than in previous versions, especially where ‘Start date’ or ‘End date’ is in current period.

 Start and End date:
Start date passed only  - Start date < +BP
Start date NOT passed only - Start date >= +BP
End date passed only - End date < +BP
End date NOT passed only - End date >= +BP
Start date passed and End date passed - Start date < +BP AND End date < +BP
Start date passed and End date NOT passed - Start date < +BP AND End date >= +BP
Start date NOT passed and End date passed - Start date >= +BP AND < +BP
Start date NOT passed and End date NOT passed - Start date >= +BP AND End date >= +BP

Progress:
Progress Started only 1-100% - Progress > 0 and Progress <= 100
Progress NOT started only 0% - Progress = 0 or Progress empty
Progress Complete only 100% - Progress >= 100
Progress NOT completed only 0-99% - Progress < 100 or Progress empty

Workflow: The ‘Run report’ action is now able to generate Reporter objects in Microsoft Office, OpenOffice and PDF formats.

  • The Run report action has a completely new GUI
  • It can create all Reporter object types
  • The subject and content of the e-mail may be edited Known limitations of this issue:
  • The upgrader sets the content of the e-mail to the English version of the default text. If another language is to be used, the content must be changed manually.
  • It is not possible to combine multiple Excel sheets or presentations. When Excel files or presentations are generated with the ‘Include all results in one report’ set to true, a single e-mail with one attachment for each file will be made.

Added support for running Jetty on a separately configured port.

If you want to run the application server on a port that is separate from the host and have the port exposed elsewhere so that it is possible to configure a proxy on the same computer, add the following property to serverinfo.properties:

corpo.app.server.redirectport=8080

where the port specified is the redirect port.

ERROR CORRECTIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS

The search page is always opened when you click on the magnifying glass in the Global Search Box, whether the search box has content or is empty. Clicking on an empty search box did not always work in previous versions.

Rich Text formatting will not be included if a Custom table is displayed as a chart on the web, to prevent issues when rendering rich text.

Filtered lists can be added to all objects, including in the Risk model. It was previously not possible to add Filtered lists to objects in the Risk model.

Objects appear in the correct column in tables, even when a scroll bar appears on the page. In some previous versions, when a scroll bar appeared, objects were forced to the left (first) column until the screen was resized.

Scrolling and resizing on web works consistently in all browsers

Checking or unchecking a Check object no longer causes the page to scroll to the top. Changing status of a check object caused the currently selected tab to refresh, and the scroll bar moved to the top. The scroll bar now keeps the same position when any object in the web is changed.

A Layout with more than one column in the page setup is correctly rendered when used with Arabic language. Note that in a header or footer, the object is always placed in column 0 and the object will span across the whole screen because only one column is allowed.

Transformer: Excel source now drops out rows it expects to be dates if the row does not contain a correct date, instead of crashing the run.
